BYD Sealion 7 price in Pakistan 2026, featuring EVraah branding, electric SUV specifications, battery range and charging features.

The BYD Sealion 7 price in Pakistan is PKR 15,490,000 (154.9 lakh) ex-factory, the figure Mega Motor Company (MMC) announced when it launched the electric SUV on 24 January 2026. Bookings opened at PKR 3,000,000. Listings we checked on 24 October 2026 still show the launch price.

The Sealion 7 is a five-seat, rear-wheel-drive electric SUV with an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery and a claimed 567 km NEDC range. MMC positions it as BYD’s premium electric SUV in Pakistan. It suits buyers with home charging who want space and performance more than the lowest purchase price.

BYD Sealion 7 Price in Pakistan 2026

The latest verified price is PKR 15,490,000 for the rear-wheel-drive version, announced at launch and still listed on 24 October 2026. Specifications in this article come from the BYD Pakistan (Mega Motor Company) brochure dated 20 January 2026 unless stated otherwise.

VariantPrice in PakistanMotor ConfigurationBattery CapacityClaimed Range
Sealion 7 rear-wheel drive (listed as Advanced)PKR 15,490,000 (154.9 lakh), list priceSingle rear motor, 230 kW (308 hp), 380 Nm82.56 kWh Blade Battery567 km (NEDC)
Sealion 7 all-wheel drive (Performance)No Pakistani price confirmedDual motor, 390 kW, 690 Nm (global spec in the launch specification table)82.56 kWh542 km (NEDC, launch spec)

What the price includes. PKR 15,490,000 is a list price, not an on-road price. At launch, MMC said prices included freight and inland transit insurance for bookings until 28 February 2026, while current marketplace listings call the same figure ex-factory, excluding freight, taxes and documentation. Ask the dealer for a written quotation that states exactly what is included.

BYD Sealion 7 booking price in Pakistan

The booking amount announced at launch was PKR 3,000,000, about 19% of the list price. The introductory offer (a free 7 kW wall charger with installation and a 10-year low-voltage battery warranty) applied only to bookings until 28 February 2026, so do not assume it still applies. We could not verify a current delivery timeline. EVraah does not use converted international prices, because they ignore Pakistani duties and taxes.

BYD Sealion 7 Variants and Features

Only one variant has an official Pakistani price: the rear-wheel-drive version, which listings call Advanced. MMC’s launch material also listed all-wheel-drive specifications, but no Pakistani price or delivery date has been published for it. Some sites quote PKR 1.75 crore for a “Performance AWD”. EVraah could not verify that, so treat it as unconfirmed. The rear-wheel-drive version’s brochure lists:

  • Performance and charging: 230 kW motor, 6.7-second 0 to 100 km/h, 11 kW AC and 150 kW DC charging, and vehicle-to-load (V2L) output.
  • Comfort and technology: leather interior, powered and ventilated front seats, panoramic roof, 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, head-up display, Dynaudio speakers and a digital key.
  • Driver assistance: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping aids, blind-spot detection and a 360-degree camera.

BYD Sealion 7 Battery, Range and Charging Time

The 82.56 kWh Blade Battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP), which tolerates heat and frequent charging well. Our EV battery lifespan and degradation guide covers heat and battery care.

BYD Sealion 7 range in Pakistan

MMC claims up to 567 km on the NEDC cycle, which usually reads optimistic. The matching international rear-wheel-drive specification lists 482 km on the stricter WLTP cycle, so compare range only within one test standard.

EVraah planning estimate: at an assumed 20 kWh per 100 km, the 82.56 kWh battery gives about 413 km (82.56 ÷ 0.20). This is a cautious planning assumption, not a measured Sealion 7 result, and no independent Pakistani range test exists yet.

BYD Sealion 7 charging time

Charging scenarioEnergy addedIdeal-case time
AC at 11 kW, 0 to 100%82.56 kWhAbout 7.5 hours before losses
AC at 7 kW (the wall charger offered at launch), 0 to 100%82.56 kWhAbout 11.8 hours before losses
DC at 150 kW, 10 to 80%About 57.8 kWhAbout 23 minutes at constant peak power

These are EVraah calculations (energy ÷ charger power), not BYD claims. Charging slows as the battery fills, and few chargers deliver the full 150 kW. BYD Pakistan quotes about 30 minutes for 30 to 80% on DC, a manufacturer figure we have not tested. An 11 kW home charge usually needs a three-phase supply, so ask an electrician first. See our guides to EV charging time and home EV charging.

The car uses Type 2 for AC and CCS2 for DC, the connectors most public chargers in Pakistan use. MMC and HubcoGreen have said they are building a charging corridor of about 1,300 km from Karachi to Peshawar. Charger availability, connector compatibility and operational status change, so check them on the EVraah charging map before each journey, and read our guide to EV charging stations on Pakistan’s motorways.

BYD Sealion 7 Interior, Exterior and Safety Features

Interior. The cabin seats five, with leather upholstery, powered front seats with driver memory, ventilated front seats, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a 10.25-inch cluster, a head-up display and RGB mood lighting. It also lists a 50 W wireless charger, a PM2.5 air filter and a fixed panoramic roof with an electric shade.

Exterior. LED headlights and tail lights, rain-sensing wipers, heated and retractable mirrors, acoustic glass and a hands-free power tailgate are listed. Colours are Atlantis Grey, Shark Grey, Cosmos Black and Aurora White.

Safety. The brochure lists front, side, side-curtain and driver far-side airbags, hill-hold control, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, ISOFIX anchors, parking sensors and a 360-degree camera. Driver-assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure prevention, blind-spot detection, cross-traffic alerts with braking and driver-attention warning. Airbag counts differ between sources, so confirm the number for your car. These systems assist the driver and do not replace attention.

The international Sealion 7 earned a five-star ANCAP rating (87% adult, 93% child occupant protection) and a five-star Euro NCAP result. Neither is a Pakistan-specific test, and ANCAP rated rear-passenger chest protection in the full-width test as weak. We found no crash-test result for the Pakistan-market car.

BYD Electric Cars in Pakistan

BYD car prices in Pakistan run from PKR 7,290,000 for the Atto 2 to a listed PKR 19,950,000 for the Shark 6. BYD sells through Mega Motor Company, and the Atto 2 and Sealion 7 joined the Atto 3 and Seal on 24 January 2026. The Atto 2 and Atto 3 are compact electric SUVs for city use, the Seal is a sedan, the Sealion 7 is the larger electric SUV and the Shark 6 is a plug-in hybrid pickup. The Sealion 6 plug-in hybrid was shown at the Pakistan Auto Show in September 2026, with local assembly targeted for Q4 2026, but has no announced Pakistani price. See our BYD Atto 2 price guide for the cheapest BYD.

BYD Sealion 7 vs BYD Atto 3

The Sealion 7 costs PKR 6.5 million (72%) more than the Atto 3. Atto 3 figures come from BYD Pakistan’s specification sheet, as used in our BYD Atto 3 specifications and price guide.

The Sealion 7 has a battery 65% larger, 53% more power and more than twice the DC charging limit, which suits families and intercity travel. The Atto 3 is easier to park and far cheaper to buy, so it fits mostly city driving on a tighter budget.

Is the BYD Sealion 7 Worth Buying in Pakistan?

It depends on how you will use it. At PKR 15.49 million it is a premium purchase with a large battery, 150 kW DC charging and a five-star international safety record. EVraah has not tested it, so we make no “best electric SUV” claim. A closer rival is covered in our Deepal S07 vs BYD Sealion 7 comparison.

  • City and intercity use: the range suits daily commuting and many intercity trips, but motorway journeys need planned charging stops.
  • Home charging: savings are largest with private parking and a proper wallbox. Without overnight charging, running costs and inconvenience rise.
  • Public charging: plan trips with the EVraah route planner and keep a backup station.
  • Warranty and service: the warranty terms are strong on paper, but check the nearest service location and how long parts take to arrive.
  • Resale: Pakistan has little used-market history for EVs at this price, so resale value is uncertain.

BYD Sealion 7 Ownership Costs in Pakistan

Electricity is the cost you can estimate. The table uses the illustrative rates in our EV charging cost guide: Rs 50/kWh at home and Rs 120/kWh at a public charger. It assumes the full 82.56 kWh battery, 20 kWh per 100 km and no charging losses, which add a little in practice.

ChargeHome (Rs 50/kWh)Public (Rs 120/kWh)
Full 82.56 kWhAbout Rs 4,130About Rs 9,910
10 to 80% (57.8 kWh)About Rs 2,890About Rs 6,940
Per km at 20 kWh/100 kmAbout Rs 10About Rs 24

Other costs are harder to price. Registration, taxes, insurance and delivery vary by province and buyer, so EVraah does not publish one on-road figure; get a written dealer quote. A home charger’s cost depends on the unit, cable length and wiring. The front and rear tyres differ in size, so ask what stock and prices are available locally. We could not find published service-interval pricing.
