EVraah ("EVraah", "we", "us", or "our") operates the EVraah website and mobile application (together, the "Services") that help EV owners in Pakistan find charging stations, compare networks, and plan trips. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details — name, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you register.
• Vehicle information — brand, model, battery capacity, range, and connector type you add to your profile.
• User contributions — reviews, ratings, station submissions, and "report incorrect information" reports.
• Communications — messages you send us through contact or partner forms.

Information collected automatically

• Location — your device location, if you grant permission, to show nearby chargers (see Section 3).
• Usage data — searches performed, stations viewed, routes planned, and general app/site interactions.
• Device data — device type, operating system, browser, and approximate region derived from your IP address.
• Charging history — records of charging sessions, energy used, and cost where this feature is available.

2. How we use your information

• Show you nearby and relevant charging stations, networks, and routes.
• Create and manage your account, favorites, saved routes, and charging history.
• Improve the accuracy of station data using your reviews and reports.
• Send you service updates, saved-station alerts, and — if you opt in — EV news and our newsletter.
• Understand how the Services are used so we can improve them, and keep them secure.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Location data

Location is central to finding chargers. When you allow location access, we use it to display nearby stations, sort results by distance, and power the route planner. You can decline location access and enter a city or address manually instead, and revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.

4. Sharing & third parties

• Mapping & navigation providers — we use Google Maps Platform to render maps, geocode addresses, and hand off navigation. Your interactions with those maps are subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and email delivery partners that process data on our behalf under contract.
• Charging operators & partners — aggregated, non-identifying analytics only. We do not share your identity with operators without your consent.
• Legal reasons — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as units and language), and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

6. Security & data retention

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and hashed passwords. We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account at any time, after which we remove or anonymize your personal data except where we must retain it by law.

7. Your rights & choices

• Access, update, or correct your profile and vehicle information from your account settings.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
• Control location and notification permissions from your device settings.

8. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services.
