60 kW CCS2 DC Fast Charger at I-8 Markaz, Islamabad

This is a HUBCO Green and PSO DC fast charger at the Marwat Filling Station on Rehman Baba Road in I-8 Markaz, a short drive from the centre of Islamabad. It is one of the more central fast-charging options among the EV charging stations in Islamabad.

Charging details

The charger is rated at up to 60 kW DC over a CCS2 connector. That is a solid top-up speed for a city stop, though what you actually get depends on your car's charging curve and battery level. Drivers have reported a price of around Rs 120 per kWh, but tariffs change, so check the rate at the charger before you plug in. Our charging-time guide and fast vs slow charging guide explain how to estimate a session, and the charging cost guide shows how public prices compare.

Which cars can use it

Any EV with a CCS2 port can charge here. If you're unsure about your car, see our connectors guide and the answer on whether a GB/T car can use a CCS2 charger. Opening hours haven't been confirmed yet, so check before a late-night visit.

One charging point: plan a backup

This station has a single charging point, so it can be occupied at busy times. If it is, other options in the city include the Aramco GO charger on Embassy Road, the Attock charger in Blue Area and the Aramco GO charger on Srinagar Highway. Across the border in Rawalpindi there's also the HUBCO Green charger at Zeta Mall. Compare them all on the charger map or on our Islamabad city page.
